I strive to integrate as many skills as possible into collaborations with students. In this project audio production became the motivation to teach students woodworking skills as we built a professional audio production table at Murray High School.
As my students' interest in digital media grew, we started to explore the world of "deep learning." This video walks through the integration of coding, videography, photography, and machine learning to make object detection accessible to students at Murray High School.

As project-based learning becomes a focus of schools systems nation wide, I work to co-design authentic cross-curricular projects with colleagues in ACPS. This project used digital hardware to study trigonometric concepts.
Albemarle High School's Jazz band was selected out of schools from 27 states to attend the Savannah Swing Central Jazz Festival. This video was made to thank the financial supporters of the trip.

Charlottesville Inside Out is a subsidiary of PBS. They ran a special on our program and aired it on TV from 2018 - 2019. Great insight into the curricular framework of A3House and the minds behind it.
Local jazz group: Velvet People Collective embark on a local tour this summer. This video is being used to promote their art and market their music in Charlottesville, VA.

This was the first promotional video for the Audio Production program I launched at Albemarle High School (A3House). It highlights the usefulness of the program as an extension of teacher curriculum.
One of my Audio Production students and I were granted access to shoot at the Jefferson Theater in Charlottesville, VA. The experience coincides with my philosophy of giving students authentic experience through real-life career opportunities.
